Valaya Alongkorn International Dorm
Valaya Alongkorn International Dorm has 3 buildings named A, B, and C and 4 floors. I lived at the 2nd floor B building together with my fellow SEA teachers from University of Santo Tomas. It has really superb and clean facilities. All of the things needed are accessible and made convenient. 1st floor is the lobby where one could study and at the same time vending machines with price-friendly snacks, drinks, and water refill stations.

This place was not only a dorm for me, but a home. So many spectacular and worth-remembering memories happened. This became my comfort, reflection, and at the same time anchor. It always reminds me and pulls me back to where I always belong to- my bed, friends, and self. Forever and always, I would treasure how my room 406 molded mw to who I am today.
VRU's Demonstration School Facilities
VRU's campus is massive! When we first arrived here, I did not noticed it as it was evening. However, the morning we get to go to the demonstration school, we rode a VRU shuttle bus. And I was shocked and amazed if how big the campus is! The short clip attached to the right is where you can see my short travel from the VRU International dorm going to the demonstration school.

Before every morning rights starts, a superb practice of this school is assigning teachers to greet the students in front of the gate before entering, which I have also experienced. And this is how I realized that simple things really matter. It is through this best way that the students would know how to value of character and respect. This is where teaching by example is evidently demonstrated.
In Welcoming....

VRU Gymnasium
Valaya Alongkorn Demonstration School's covered court is big. It accommodated all the students from junior to senior high school. As you can see in the above attached video, it is well-equipped where in there is a net on the sides so that when playing ball games, people who are passing on the sides or corners would not be hurt. This is also where the school conduct some programs like the opening ceremony of boy and girl scouts. I also played badminton with my friend and fellow SEA teacher, Trish, and at the same time with students from Matthium 3. And that was my first time playing badminton again after 4 years. Another worthy first of mine that happened in Thailand.
VRU's Classrooms
VRU Demonstration School's classrooms are well-managed and taken care of. It ensures the welfare of the students by having enough facilities and a well-conditioned and ventilated environment where students could focus in their learning. Additionally, students are not allowed to wear shoes inside the classrooms. Hence, they leave their shoes outside the classroom which is put in the shoe racks provided outside the classroom. A very good classroom management is also manifested as the students' shoes in the shoe rack would serve as their attendance where adviser would check.
